Responsible for all the electronics onboard the aircraft as well as the wiring that connects to the electrical systems. Run cables, mount antennas, and connect instruments for navigation and engine monitoring.

Principal Responsibilities

• Repair, replace and perform operational and preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics and controlled cryptographic equipment.

Proficient in the use of all electrical and electronic test and monitoring equipment during the performance of repairs and maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment on the aircraft. They will load, update, and modify software. Technicians will use their knowledge of electronic theory and circuitry to address a variety of technical problems. They will make intelligent use of complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals to accurately achieve assignments. Perform progressively more complex experience in the design, development, integration and analysis of hardware projects. Works independently or with a team to design/develop interface test adapters, cabling, automated software test programs and associated documentation for sub-assemblies and systems, and work on the embedded and system level programming. Manager, Contract

Functional Responsibilities:

This position requires a combination of skills in independently drafting and negotiating contract/subcontract terms and conditions, performing contract risk assessment and guidance, providing leadership related to the contract terms, and contract management guidance. Proven experience with contract and/or subcontract management is required; Experience with DoD/Government Contracts, including knowledge and successful execution of all types of Government contracts (FFP, Cost Reimbursement, T&M, etc.) and U.S. Government FAR/DFAR provisions is highly desirable. This position is also responsible for maintaining relationships and providing leadership on legal interpretation of contractual and business terms and conditions. This position is for a Program Manager managing a highly visible and demanding international operational program located in Afghanistan. Expect 75% OCONUS travel requirement with overseas deployment on a pre-designated rotation schedule to Afghanistan. Must have strong interpersonal communication skills including ability to conduct program briefings at the prime contract and USG level. Will interact extensively with programmatic, technical, and administrative personnel from other companies, organizations and US government. Provides crew mission briefs, preflight inspections, flight preparation, passenger briefings, internal load operations, preflight procedures, radio communications procedures, airspace surveillance, fuel management procedures, fast rope operations, slope operations, emergency egress, hand and arm signals, and refueling operations.

Responsible for performing customer support activities involving the installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Conducts on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order. Isolates equipment start-up malfunctions and takes corrective action. May make technical presentations and has a strong knowledge of products. Trains customer personnel in equipment operation and maintenance responsibilities. Serves as mentor to Afghan Crew Chiefs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor aircraft systems, including engines and other critical flight systems.

• Diagnose and rectify or eliminate problems that may arise.

• Take on preflight and post flight inspections.

• Cross check pilot selections.

• Exercise extensive mechanical and technical knowledge of aircraft systems and aircraft performance.

• Sit between the pilot and copilot to monitor the center console indicators.

• Monitor the forward instruments, pilot selections

• Troubleshoot and suggest solutions to in-flight emergencies and abnormal technical conditions.

• Review and carry out necessary actions to rectify flight problems.

• Read checklists and execute actions required under the captain's orders.

Requirements:

• Must have past or current designation as a Flight Engineer in the applicable aircraft and have 1,000 hours of experience in performing duties in support of functional/operational check, ferry, and support flights.

• Must possess a military medical or FAA Class II clearance and be able to meet applicable physical and physiological minimum requirements for the applicable aircraft.

• A high school diploma or GED and experience with contract applicable aircraft are required.

• Must be eligible for a federal government clearance

• Experience with the Mi-8/17 and its variants, US Army Aviation Quality Control operations, safety, standardization, and supervision, FAA A&P certification or CAA equivalent, Military deployment experience, US DoD aviation maintenance, flight operations, and management experience. Current or previous experience in providing training to foreign military personnel specifically the Afghan SMW and/or MoD AAF.

Functional Responsibilities: Operate a tool crib that services from people by ordering, receiving, storing, issuing and inventorying tools, parts and stock.
