provided the student demonstrates proficiency in his/her native language. Students who must take foreign language at MDC may take it during any term. However, this may

necessitate moving other required courses to a later term(s). Credits earned by taking a Foreign Language course are split between the General Education Elective and/or the

24-hour elective block.
