Develop performance measurement frameworks (KPIs, goals, user needs, benefits) consistently as part of digital service and content strategy delivery. Analyse data and use robust analysis to create compelling evidence-based and actionable data to inform the iterative design of a service or product in order to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy, establish and evaluate ROI. Key accountabilities/primary responsibilities% TimePerformance measurementDevelop and deliver a university-wide tracking and tagging strategy; Expertise use of the University Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) accounts. Source, collect and extract data that is accurate and fit for purpose, working with developers to configure, test and update configurations. Includes setup of new tags, goals, custom reports and API reporting.Procure, implement and validate appropriate analytics tools against identified performance measurement frameworks.Own and define regular online funnel reporting by device, to clearly track and measure online conversion performance – provision data and reporting in line with business requirements.35 %2.Data Analysis, insights and Synthesis Perform detailed manipulations, interrogation and analysis of information to create compelling evidence-based and actionable data trends across user groups to drive day to day activity, journey improvements as well as strategic decisions about future activities.Work with a variety of qualitative data to supplemet user research in order to achieve a broad view of users’ activity.Use CRM data and analytics tools (including GA and GTM), establish and report on end-to-end customer and product lifecycle.Use of analytical tools to audit, collect, collates, cleanses and interprets data to derive meaningful and actionable insights. Responsible for quality assurance techniques including those used by other analytical professions. Ensures data is fit for purpose.To ensure all activity is conducted in a compliant manner, acting as an ambassador to promote the effective use of data held in the database. Present data analysis and key insights to the digital service team and other relevant stakeholder groups.Present report findings in a tailored and useful way, delivered with an understanding of the complexity required by the commissioner.30 %3.Dashboard design and evaluationCreate standardised dashboards and reporting performance frameworks as an asset for the University.
