REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
The Senior Business Analyst reports directly to Director of Information Technologies of Tanner Companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Business Analyst will bring strong analysis and facilitation skills in order to build business and communication systems for the organization; evaluation of existing business processes for optimization and redesign where applicable throughout the organization; application of continuous process improvement practices; development and application of organization-wide information models for use in designing and building collaborative processes.
PROJECT RELATED COMPETENCIES:
• Elicits user requirements, edits and reviews business process recommendations, develops functional specifications and system designs related to proposed business solutions.
• Communicates proposed business solutions effectively to business process owners and development team.
• Takes input from executive and user review boards and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback to collateral project materials.
• Understands the components of running a successful project, being on-time, on-budget, meeting deadlines and communicating up, down and laterally through the organization.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes at large.
• Assists in the specification of protocol, reports, and communication for the dashboard measurement report system for the organization.
• Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
• Solid knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Excel).
• Skilled at creating flowcharts with Microsoft Visio to effectively communicate business processes and scenarios.
• Business process modeling skills (will use Microsoft Dynamics AX 2010 work flow modeling tool or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Sharepoint is desired.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Quality process statistical tools training/exposure.

• MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as BA or in a related field preferred.

• International experience/exposure a plus.
• Travel Requirements: Minimal.
