Salary:

?28-32k

Based: Winsford with infrequent travel

Purpose of the job: to ensure that core business functions run like clockwork and to hold accountability for all Central Team activity and employees, ensuring high quality, efficient and effective delivery of Business Intelligence, Marketing, Finance, HR (including recruitment, selection and induction), Governance, Office environment and compliance with relevant laws (H&S etc) as determined in the Annual Business Plan. You will report directly to the CEO.

Specific Accountabilities:

People: ? Managing attendance, well-being (incl H&S), development, productivity and performance of your people. ? Forward planning of resources in your care and ensuring they are fully equipped to deliver. ? Celebrating good behaviours and constructively tackling poor behaviours and performance. ? Knowing where your team are at all times and ensuring that diaries are planned far forward.

Specific staff accountabilities: Org Dev Officer, Marketing Coordinator: Digital & Design, SL Marketing & Events and any contractors, temporary and casual staff appointed to support team functions.

Finances: ? Delivering agreed income targets as set out in the Annual Business Plan in full. ? Spending within your allocated budget guaranteeing that the decision is wise, fair and represents value for money /a competitive price . ? Forward planning your budget and providing full and accurate updates to CEO

Specific income target: any income determined in the Annual Business Plan.

Specific Budget accountability: Any investment relating to salaries, people/organisation development and contractual commissions as determined in the Annual Budget

Contracts and commissions: ? Maintaining live knowledge on all contracts and a handle on what's been paid/invoiced. ? Providing assurance on all aspects of contracts/commissions delivered by your team `end to end' (ie from the initial concept through to delivery, invoicing, promotion and evaluation). This includes forward planning/negotiation of contracts and risk management.

Specific contract accountability: any third-party contractors including HR, Auditors, Payroll etc

Relationships: ? Maintain good relationships with staff, Board Members and third party providers.

Specific relationship accountability: Staff, Board Members, Auditors, Accountants, Landlord and any wider third party providers

Records/Intelligence: Maintaining and reporting all company records including:

- Live Budget updates - HR/Trustee and company records - Business Intelligence as set out within the Performance Dashboard

- Risk Register - Asset Register - Improvement/action register to drive delivery of agreed actions and

improvements emerging from Board, Subgroups, Planning Days, QWEST, Mid term Business reviews etc - Conflict of Interest register - Staff Performance/attendance records

Board subgroups/champions: ? Proactive engagement of specific Board Champions. ? Board and subgroup meetings alongside the CEO.

Accountable for any other duties as determined by the CEO in the pursuance of charitable objects.

Working pattern By agreement. As a senior manager you will be expected to adopt a flexible approach that will require you to demonstrate flexibility to get the job done/be available to your team.

This job may involve travel to meetings. A full clean driving license and relevant insurance is therefore required.
