DESCRIPTION

This is work conducting general business operations in occupations not listed separately.

Some positions in this occupation may be responsible for coordinating work and supervising employees.

EXAMPLES OF WORK

Supervises employees by assigning work, reviewing progress and assessing performance.

Coordinates the activities of an office with other state and local agencies.

Develops and implements program and service need methodologies.

Conducts on-site monitoring and auditing activities.

Conducts complex negotiations.

Consults with federal, state and local officials on matters applicable to the assigned area of specialization.

Conducts investigations of a complex nature regarding professional malpractice.

Secures, evaluates and documents evidence.

Prepares detailed case investigation reports.

Coordinates, develops, and implements departmental policies and regulations pertaining to the general functional areas of purchasing, supply inventory, property, food service, insurance and/or public and private sector real property management.

Evaluates, analyzes, and/or develops policies and procedures and makes recommendations for improvement.

Recommends and evaluates operating and management systems management.

Prepares, processes and files citizen’s applications and examinations, examination fees and related examination forms.
