Key accountabilities/primary responsibilities% TimeTo develop and deliver a centralised, comprehensive and strategic donor relations programme that builds and strengthens mutually beneficial, lifelong relationships with donors, delivering strong donor retention, engagement, and attracting new donors to partner with the University.To be responsible for gift acknowledgement, the stewardship of donors, management of donor recognition systems and to input into a programme of stewardship events.To serve as a University-wide resource, providing expertise, advice and guidance in managing relationships with donors. 25 %StewardshipDeliver a comprehensive stewardship and donor recognition programme for all donors including annual giving, special gift, major and principal donors.Grow donor retention in a meaningful way and support the fundraisers with strategies and plans to build donor affinity and pipeline development/maturity. Provide bespoke donor recognition, impact reporting and stewardship for key major donors, and where appropriate, Special Gift donors.Oversee the gift acknowledgement process in consultation with all relevant parties to ensure University-wide consistency. Lead on the strategy, maintenance and delivery of the Hartley Circle donor recognition programme and related campaign programmes, working closely with key teams to achieve this including Annual Giving, Special Giving and ODAR Communications. Oversee the specific stewardship of all legacy, scholarship and endowment donors.Lead on regular communications sent to all donors and friends through letters, e-newsletters, reports, website, etc., working collaboratively across the ODAR team in support of the ODAR Communications and Marketing Strategy.50 %Analysis and reportingWorking with ODAR Data and Analytics, use data insight to inform the development of a focused and impactful Donor Relations programme with measurable results.
