Job DescriptionJob Title: Business Engagement and Support ExecutiveReporting to: Rachael Owen, Chief Executive OfficerHours: 35 hours per week on Monday to Friday normally 9.00am and 5.00pmHoliday:6.6 weeks holiday annually which includes statutory and other public holidaysSalary: Salary ?21,000 to ?26,500, dependant on experience and Healthcare schemeTenure : PermanentHalton Chamber is an equal opportunities employer. Part time and flexible working will be considered.Responsible for: ‘The development and delivery of key targets in support of the Liverpool City Region Growth Hub business support brokerage service in Halton’.This role involves engaging with and building a relationship with local, Halton based organisations, to help identify their needs and provide them with a full understanding of the business support that is currently available, including the services delivered by Halton Chamber of Commerce. These organisations will then be account manged to help them access the relevant support from a range of both public and private sector sources with all progress being recorded on the Chamber’s CRM system. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To assess the growth potential and development needs of eligible businesses, to diagnose any barriers to advancement and growth and to sign post businesses to a broad range of, both private and public sector, business support professionals KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Marketing the Liverpool City Region Growth Hub concept to the business community in HaltonTo raise awareness of Halton Chamber of Commerce and the Halton Growth Hub amongst prospective clients and referrers in both the public and private sectorsTo keep abreast of changes in the business support environment nationally, regionally and locally and work with colleagues within the Chamber and Local Authority to communicate business critical information to the local business communityTo establish a comprehensive network of contacts who routinely interface with the business community. For example, Business Rates and Skills staff within the Local Authority and JCP, local FE and HE providers etc. across the City Region To undertake specific business diagnostics with eligible local companiesTo work with local companies to identify their growth needs and any potential barriers to achieving that growth To broker meaningful and sustainable relationships between local companies seeking to expand and grow and public and private business support providers in order to facilitate the realisation of an individual company’s strategic growth plans To deliver the Growth Hub programme targets and required outputsTo manage and maintain the Halton element of the ‘Evolutive’ Liverpool City Region CRM system. This will involve the inputting of information detailing every interaction between the Growth Hub and a range of business support providers To contribute to the development of the membership base of Halton Chamber of CommerceTo collate and provide periodic performance reports to the Chamber of Commerce, Halton Council, the LEP and BISTo carry out any other reasonable activities as required by Halton Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise. ................
