Setup

Coinbase is our preferred crypto wallet of choice in the U.S. because it's safe, easy to use, and has minimal fees. To set one up and use it to purchase cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, and to transfer Kala in the future to other cryptocurrencies, use these instructions.

COINBASE

IF USING A CREDIT CARD:

1. CREATE A COINBASE ACCOUNT.

2. ADD YOUR CARD.

a. Have the card ready.

b. Have your credit card statement open and ready to watch for the.verification ......amounts.

i. Do not use the 1.00 payments, only payments from 1.01 to 1.99.

ii. Some credit card companies will combine these payments. You may ......need to contact their customer service to get those amounts separated.

iii. They may also mark those charges as spam charges, you will have to ......contact their customer service to have those charges shown on regular ......account summary.

iv. Some charges may take a 24-72 hours to post to your card statement, ......you may need to take this into account when waiting for the charges.

c. Once you have your charges:

i. Stay on your Dashboard, and go to the large box at the bottom right. ....There will be a large blue box asking you to Verify Payment Method.

ii. Click on Verify Payment Method.

iii. Input the charges on your card to the two boxes.

1. The charges will only need to be inputted by the change amounts. ......01 to .99. The dollar part is already listed, and cannot be changed.

iv. Click Verify. You will receive another text code to input. Input the code, ......and your card will be verified!

NOTE: Purchasing with a credit card is a faster process than with a bank account, usually a matter of minutes or hours instead of days.

IF USING YOUR BANK ACCOUNT

1. CREATE A COINBASE ACCOUNT.

2. CHOOSE TO ADD YOUR BANK ACCOUNT.

a. Click the corresponding bank from the screen or search for a .....different one.

b. You need to have online banking with your bank in order for this .....to work.

c. Sign into your bank account.

d. You'll receive a confirmation number by phone or email. Input .....that number to confirm your banking account.

e. Have your online bank account open and ready to watch for the . verification amounts to be sent. It should be just a few cents.

f. Once you have your charges: i. Stay on your Dashboard, and go to the large box at the ....bottom right. There will be a large blue box asking you to ....Verify Payment Method.

ii. Click on Verify Payment Method.

iii. Input the charges in your account to the two boxes.

1. The charges will only need to be inputted by the .....change amounts. .01 to .99.

2. Click Verify. You will receive another text code to .....input. Input the code, and your bank account will be .....verified!

NOW YOU CAN BUY BITCOIN

1. Go to the Buy/Sell tab. a. Your bank account will be listed under Payment Method. b. Check to see that you have selected Bitcoin to buy. here are .....three different Cryptocurrencies listed here. A green box around .....the Bitcoin box with a green check mark should be in the top .....right corner. c. You do NOT have a limit to the amount of Bitcoin you can buy. .....The amount you wish to enter is completely up to you. d. Enter the amount of Bitcoin you would like to purchase in the .....Amount box. A grey USD will be in the right hand side of the long .....box. e. Your USD will automatically be calculated into BTC (Bitcoin) in the .....box below it. This is to show you exactly how much Bitcoin you .....are purchasing. f. Once you have put in the desired amount, click `Buy Bitcoin .....Instantly.' g. From there, you must confirm your purchase. h. Look down at the Fee, Subtotal, and Total. Your Subtotal will be .....the actual amount deposited into your Bitcoin account.*** i. Confirm your Buy. You can also cancel the transaction to add .....more.

2. You have successfully added your bank account, and purchased your .....Bitcoin. From there you will have to wait for your Bitcoin to be .....available in your account. This may take 3-7 days.
