A suggested problem list is attached.

Blue books: Tests will be taken in a pristine 8 ½ x 11, 12 leaves – 24 page blue book (or larger, not smaller!). You need 6 bluebooks.

You will give a bluebook to me as you enter the class; I will give you back one that is not the one you gave me to take your test.

If you forget yours or bring the wrong size the charge is 5 points!

Grading: The average of your test scores is your grade for the course.

There is rarely a curve on the grades in this class.

There are no make-up exams. The final may be used to make-up a low score or a missed test.

The test and lecture schedule is attached.

This course is tutored in MathLab, room 222 Garrison.

Calculator: A calculator is needed in Chapter 4. Chapter 11 requires a calculator with an exponentiation key. It usually has a “yx” label on it.
