1993 – 1995

Studied in Chengdu University, majored in English language. In July 1995, graduated with the Associate Degree. During this period of time, I had successfully passed CET (College English Test, the national English level test mainly designed for students), Band 6 (Equivalent to 580 for TOEFL).

1997 – 2001

Studied in West South Communication University (Chengdu), majoring in Computer Technology. Courses included: C-programming, Assembly Language, Math, Web Application, Foundation of Network Systems, Database System, Data Structure, Artificial Intelligence, Principles of Telecommunication, Computer Interface Technology, Information Exchange Technology, Model Identification, Digital Circuits and Electronic Signal Process, The Theories of Information and Encoding, Java Programming, etc. In July 1995, graduated with the Bachelor’s Degree of Science.

Work Experience:

1995 – 1997

Worked in Tianfu International Tourism Company as a translator. During this period of time, my English level was further improved. Fluent in speaking and proficient in writing, I basically mastered this language and worked confidently on my post.

2001 – 2003

Worked in Dong Hua Technology Co.,Ltd as a technical support engineer. I was responsible for on-site network configuration and technical support, for client communication, and translating all technical documents.

During that period of time, I was also working as a part time translator taking up translation projects. As I had flexible working time in Dong Hua, I got plenty of time to do translation jobs.
