We love celebrating tradition.

At Swerve, we're all about choices, and life presents us with many of them. One thing we don't get to choose is where we're born. For me, it was Ozark, Alabama--a small Southern town where everybody knows everybody. It's the kind of community that raises you and teaches you to feel responsible for everybody else there, too. I'm proud of where I came from and visit often.

Why am I talking about growing up in a small Southeast Alabama town? Because, while you can't choose where you're from, you can choose how you remember it. The treats in this cookbook make me think of home, family, my childhood, sharing sweet

treats with friends, and my Grandma always having Little Debbie Nutty Buddies in that special canister on the kitchen counter. One of my fondest memories of childhood is eating "Bebos" with my Dad (Bebos are what we called pecan twirls, and we would eat every single one in the package in one sitting). We'd unwrap that twist of dough meticulously, knowing the sweet goodness of the center was just one more bite away.

The Swerve Family believes that traditions and memories should be celebrated. With these snack cake recipes, we're creating new traditions and new memories that are better for you . . . and still just as sweet.
