Policy/Endorsement Premiums - Calculate

The Rate Calculator enables you to calculate Policy and Endorsement premiums to generate a quote. Use the steps in this guide to calculate premiums.

Calculate Premiums - Quote

Calculate premiums at any time without being in a file to generate a quote using the following steps

1. In the Main Menu, click 2. In the Rate Quote screen, complete all fields indicated with .

NOTE: The option of Business Segment will vary from state to state as applicable, and is only available for certain States

NOTE: Select a Rate Effective Date for the quote and/or Effective Date for the policies if appropriate.

3. Verify or enter Owner and/or Loan Policy information 4. Refer to the Optional area below to Add Endorsements and Select Closing Protection Letter (CPL)

5. Click NOTE: A notification will appear if there are any calculation errors for any of the products listed.

6. If the calculator has Additional Questions, a menu will appear below, answer each question as appropriate NOTES: ? Some fields may already be populated. Confirm they are correct. ? A quote sheet will open in a new window as a pdf file for you to print or download to your computer

Calculate Premiums in a File

AgentNet Title & Escrow has an auto-calculate feature based on the information entered into a file on the General tab. The system will always attempt to calculate premiums without having to initiate it.

Beginning from an open File:

1. In the top right side of the window, click NOTE: A visual indicator on the icon will alert you with a green check if the calculation is successful, or a red exclamation point if additional information is required.

2. If the icon has a red exclamation point, repeat steps 2 through 3 in the section above NOTE: Calculated premiums can be user-modified in real-time.

1. In the Endorsements section, click Search/Select Endorsements field NOTE: You can also type the name of the Endorsement you want to add.

2. Click to the right of the appropriate Endorsement in the drop-down list

1. In the CPL section, click Select CPL field NOTE: When adding a CPL charge in the Rate Calculator, a Pending CPL item will be placed in the CPL screen.
