COLLEGE STATEMENT

Fresno City College is

California¡¯s first community

college and was founded

in 1910 with 20 students

and three instructors. The

college now has over 20,000

students each semester and

over 700 faculty members.

This publication is intended to serve students and prospective students as a guide to program\planning, institutional

services and regulations for attendance at this institution. This catalog becomes effective with the Fall 2020 semester

and ends with the Summer 2021 session, unless otherwise amended. The college reserves the right to adjust conditions

of enrollment, class offerings, and services rendered as dictated by the limits of institutional resources and enrollment

conditions.

Students are held individually responsible for the information contained in the catalog. Failure to read and comply with

college regulations will not exempt students from whatever penalties they may incur.
