MEETING MINUTES

CCPOA REGION 2

November 10, 2010

Location: Sizzler Restaurant, Murphy Canyon Road, San Diego

Board Members Present: Region 2 Director Jodee Sasway, Region 2 Assistant Director Kelly Richardson, Region 2 Secretary Dulci Fish, and Region 2 Treasurer Ronnie Martinez

Board Members Absent: None

CCPOA Members present: Marlee Chapman (SD Sheriff’s, Santee), Angela Gaines (CVPD), Debbie Ramos (Institute for Public Strategies), Darlene Duncan (SD Sheriff’s, Poway), BeBe Nares (City of San Marcos), Karen Barney (ITRC), Kara McCaslin (SD Sheriff’s, Encinitas), Henry Tirado (SD Sheriff’s, Del Mar), John McLelland (SD Sheriff’s, Fallbrook), Julio Garcia (SD Sheriff’s, Imperial Beach), B.J. Williams (SD Sheriff’s, Valley Center), Heather Clark (SD Sheriff’s, Encinitas), Erin Jones (La Mesa PD), Ted Parker (SDPD)

Non-members present: Mark Palmer (DOD), Edward Zwibel (SDPD), Hank Coleman (ITRC)

Meeting Called To Order: Jodee began the main membership meeting at 12:00 and introduced the Region 2 board.

Financial Report: Ronnie stated the current total Region 2 balance is $1601.15.

Training Presentation: Jodee Sasway coordinated the presentation. Jodee introduced Jon Moffat of Vista Community Clinic. Jon Moffat gave a Cyber Safety presentation titled, “From My Space to Facebook.”

Future Business:

• Jodee mentioned the December 8th meeting will be an important brainstorming/networking session for the upcoming year.
