WUE Guidelines

Conditions for enrollment: Applicants must meet the higher academic GPA and subject requirements for non-resident applicants. The WUE program is only open to U.S. Citizens and non-citizens legally present in the United States. Students pursuing a second bachelor's degree or master's degree are not eligible to participate in WUE. WUE students are not eligible for California resident tuition. Students cannot apply time accrued while participating in the WUE program to establish California residency. Students may receive WUE tuition for four years or until the completion of the bachelor's degree.

To maintain WUE status: Students must maintain full-time enrollment (at least 12 units fall/spring) each semester and remain in good academic standing with the institution. Comparison of *Estimated Annual 2021-2022 WUE and Non-Resident tuition rates:
