The Steering Committee for Access to Excellence will hold California State University Regional Stakeholder meetings on two dates and locations: on Friday, September 7, 2007 at The Pointe in the Walter Pyramid (Sunset AB) at California State University, Long Beach, 1250 Bellflower Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90840 and on Monday, September 10, 2007 at the San Francisco State University Downtown Campus (N609), 835 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Each of these meetings is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM.

The planning process for this new systemwide strategic plan (Access to Excellence) is inclusive and consultative in design. Access to Excellence will emphasize how the CSU can best relate to, and serve, key external stakeholders and, thereby, the State of California. The next important step in our planning process; therefore, is a series of stakeholder meetings, to which representatives from the P-14 education, business, and civil rights/non-profit/advocacy sectors are invited.
