This document has been refreshed. The subject content and specimen question papers remain the same.

Minor changes to the wording of some sections have been made to improve clarity.

Changes to Version 2 of the syllabus:

A correction has been made to page 21.

In Section 10.1 Diseases and immunity, Supplement subject content

? Explain the role of vaccination in controlling the spread of diseases has been reinstated after it was mistakenly removed from version 1.

Any textbooks endorsed to support the syllabus for examination from 2016 are still suitable for use with this syllabus.

We have not updated the specimen materials for this syllabus.
