You Can't Beat God's Giving

(John 3:16 KJV)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

W

hat’s the most precious thing to you? On an inquisitive note, would you consider giving it away, even if it’s for a worthy cause? Abraham refused to let Sara go by lying to the king, that she was his sister. Pharaoh refused to let the Israelites depart from Egypt, and caused his whole military to suffer annihilation. Laban the uncle of Jacob couldn't let Rachel go, to marry him; so Laban trick Jacob and gave him cross eyed Leah, and made Jacob work seven more years for Rachel. Jacob couldn't let Benjamin go with his other brothers to visit their brother Joseph in Egypt because of their track record. And the list goes on and on; but when it comes to God, He gave His best to humanity, to die for the sins of the entire universe. And this informs me that, to accomplish anything in life you’ve got to give up the good in order to achieve the best. Even though it might mean that something good has to go in order that better things may come.

In the text, Jesus gives Nicodemus a man of distinction and outstanding character a crash course in Regeneration 101. Nicodemus, who knew the popularity of Jesus, met with Him in a discrete place at night. Nicodemus was a member of the Sanhedrin’s council and ruler of the Jews. Nicodemus planned this meeting with Jesus to ask some pertinent questions concerning the kingdom of God. So, he steals away at night away from those who would distract the dialog. He probably wanted a private interview so no one could interrupt them. And then the dialog arrive at verse 16, " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Let's see byway of the text, what God's intention was in giving Jesus to humanity.

I. God Gave Supernaturally:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

In order to fully understand God's supernatural abilities—we must shift our focus from the seen to the unseen in the supernatural realm of God. We would have to shift from our ways to His ways, and shift from the flesh to the spirit, also from the natural to the supernatural. In the supernatural realm, God condescended Himself and poured Himself into human frailty while never losing any of His deity. Amazingly, this divine demonstration was preformed supernaturally.

Whereas, when it came to redeeming humanity— God the head of the trinity, sent Jesus the second of the God head trinity. How did he do it? Well, God through Mary conceived Jesus, just to hold himself as a hostage over death for the redemption of the humanity. Ironically, the supernatural conception of Jesus was not the bi- product of any sexual union nor was it of human or human-divine, but rather by the Holy Spirit the third head to the God head trinity.

God the Son who created everything in the world was willing after divine conception to be born in a manger of hay rather than a hospital bed. He went as low as to being born in a trough where animals digested their nutrition's. And in his later years you will find Him at the age of 12 years old in the temple at Jerusalem attending bible study and instructing the doctors of the law as that of a Master teacher supernaturally.

Let’s take a more in-depth observation of Jesus’ deity. Jesus teaches us that God has one only begotten Son. In reaching the theology of the Muslims this sounds like blasphemy. They comprehend this concept to mean that God must have had relations with an angel, or with a woman. To be totally honest this sort of observation is appalling to the Christian faith.
