Packets will be posted on Canvas pages which students can access through their Launchpad. Please monitor teacher Canvas pages and communicate via Canvas as often as needed. Allow 24 hours for teacher response. Teachers will post their office hours on their Canvas accounts. During Learn from Home, Canvas monitoring, and tutoring will be conducted as designed and scheduled with the teacher. Students can also use FEV tutoring which is a free on demand tutoring site accessed through an icon on their Launchpad. Students who registered for virtual for the first semester (until January 2021) will continue with current schedule.F2F students will be able to login for asynchronous instruction. Teachers may also offer some live courses during the Learn from Home period. These classes will be posted on the student’s Canvas account. We understand that not all students will be able to attend these virtual sessions, and this is not a requirement during the Learn from Home period. Teachers will offer a minimum of two live sessions a week. ALL students will be asynchronous on Fridays weeklyVirtual Students will continue scheduled times.Questions or concerns can be emailed to your child’s HR teacher, Mrs. Snowberger, Mrs. Johnson, or Mr. municationTeachers can be reached via Canvas course page/email. This is the primary mode of communication. Please allow 24 hours for teachers to respond to communication. REMIND and Class Dojo are also available if the teacher utilizes these platforms.Asynchronous Instruction (independent practice)Students will complete assignments asynchronously (i-Ready, homework assignments, classwork)Please check Canvas daily for assignments and communication from the teacher. Asynchronous assignments are a requirement of Learn from Home and Virtual students. Synchronous Instruction (scheduled time for virtual learning with teacher) Students will log on at a set time to receive direct instruction from their teacher(s). Students who are already enrolled in virtual learning will continue already posted schedules. Students who are F2F and Learn From Home will check Canvas for times that teacher will hold live courses (a minimum of 2 times per week) and will attend if possible but not requiredTutoringAvailable on Fridays by appointment or free through online platform FEV tutoring on the Launchpad and can be scheduled on demand.
