SERKAN SENGUL, PE, M.ASCEREGION 7 GOVERNOR CANDIDATEBIOGRAPHICAL STATEMENTMr. Sengul is responsible for the oversight and management of the geotechnical engineering services provided by Ninyo & Moore's Colorado offices. As a registered professional engineer in eight states (CO, KS, MT, NE, NM, OK, UT, and WY), Mr. Sengul has over 13 years of experience providing forensic engineering, geotechnical and geologic failure analysis, geotechnical engineering, geologic hazard assessments, geophysical explorations, and materials testing services to federal, military, transportation, municipal, public works, and other private entity clients.? He has completed over 3,000 geotechnical, geologic, and geophysical studies and has worked on a broad range of projects including: land development, brownfield, commercial, redevelopment, residential, retail, alternative energy (heat exchange, wind, and solar), dams and levees, bridges, tunnels, pipelines and utility lines, water and wastewater, transmission, roadways and highways, and high-rise buildings. His experience includes mine subsidence analysis, earthquake seismicity studies, liquefaction analysis, slope stability analysis, landslide evaluations, slope stability analysis, retaining wall design, hydrogeological evaluations, rock-fall analysis, geologic mapping, expansive and collapsible soil evaluation and mitigation, sink hole evaluations, rippability studies, and foundation/pavement design.
