A busy weekend is expected Downtown during Bronner Bros Mid-Winter International Hair Show.   With concurrent events taking place at the GWCC, Georgia Dome and Philips Arena we encourage visitors to take advantage of these resources to plan your route and allow ample travel time prior to your scheduled competition time. 

1. Take MARTA-

MARTA, Atlanta's public transportation system, offers rapid rail and bus service that is easy to navigate.

2. Plan your route- Follow these special driving directions below to access the Georgia World Congress Center for the Bronner Bros Mid-Winter International Hair Show and avoid much of the traffic congestion!

From the Airport and the South:

Take I-75/85 North to Central Avenue/Fulton Street exit (Exit 246). Turn right onto Fulton Street. Turn left onto Capitol Avenue (first light). Turn Left onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd at the Georgia State Capitol. Continue for several blocks crossing Peachtree Street and Spring Street. At Centennial Olympic Park Drive turn left. At first light, turn right onto Chapel Street and continue around corner passed the first stop sign for access to the Orange Lot and Brown Lot and passed the second stop sign for the Red Deck. All lots $15 per car.

From the North:

Take I-75/85 South to North Avenue (Exit 249D). (Expect heavy traffic if continuing on to Williams Street (Exit 249C). Turn right onto North Avenue. Cross Centennial Olympic Park Drive, Luckie Street and Marietta Street continuing to Northside Drive. For Yellow Lot Parking, turn left onto Ivan Allen Blvd. Otherwise, continue on Northside Drive passed the Georgia Dome and turn left onto Georgia Dome Drive. At stop sign, access Orange Lot and Brown lot by turning right. Access Red Deck by turning left. All lots $15 per car.

From the West:

Take I-20 East to Spring Street (Exit 56B). Turn left onto Spring Street and then left on to Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. At first light, turn right onto Chapel Street and continue around corner passed the first stop sign for access to the Orange Lot and Brown Lot and passed the second stop sign for the Red Deck. All lots $15 per car.

From the East:

Take I-20 West to Spring Street (Exit 56B). Turn right onto Spring Street continuing several blocks and then left on to Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. At first light, turn right onto Chapel Street and continue around corner passed the first stop sign for access to the Orange Lot and Brown Lot and passed the second stop sign for the Red Deck. All lots $15 per car.

3. Know where to park-

Parking around the Georgia World Congress Center-

If you have not pre-purchased a pass for parking in the Red Deck, spaces are currently very limited and are expected to sell out.  Use the Blue (4) or Yellow (6) lots and take the GWCC complimentary campus shuttle to the building.  Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes.
