PROJECT NOTES: This lifestyle campaign was a bit nerve wracking and a little more difficult than I thought! But, I had the best time and it taught me not to be as shy about confronting people and to dive right in! At first, I was nervous but after the second store I felt like a pro! I attended 10 lifestyle accounts and hung up “The Cult: Hidden City” posters in each one. I had a lot of wonderful conversations with some of the owners of the lifestyle accounts. I was able to get the most attention about the posters in tattoo shops and record stores. I went to two tattoo places, both of which I get my tattoos done at and they were both thrilled to have the posters in the window. It was a little difficult in that I did not think there were going to be so many stores that actually said “no” to me even if they were privately owned. I was still very polite and thanked them for their time. As far as fans go, I saw my uncle yesterday and I was talking to him about my internship. I told him who I was doing my lifestyle campaign for and he got so excited when he found out I was promoting “The Cult.” He was telling me he listened to them all the time. I liked the music as well. I actually love rock music because I grew up listening to it in the car with my dad and it never left me! Listening to “The Hidden City” was a great experience. My dad and I listened to it in the car on the way home from dinner the other night!
