Career/ Budget ProjectA job is defined as something you do to earn money. A career is an occupation or profession, especially one requiring special training, followed as one's lifework. Examples: Business (Corporate or Small), Teaching, Doctor (pediatrician, surgeon, dentist, etc), Marine Biologist, Mechanic, Military, Restaurant Chef, Hair Stylist, etcFor the next several weeks, you will be researching various careers that interest you. Of these you will be picking a career to research in depth. This should be a profession that interests you as it is a major part of your life from the focus of your education and training to how you are going to spend your time working throughout your life. However, this should also be able to provide you with the necessities of life (i.e. food, housing, transportation) Therefore, we will also be spending time researching salaries, incomes, and expenses that go along with life in the U.S. Check points:AssignmentGradePick a careerSalaryBudgetCareer ResearchSituational BudgetCareer Project Rough DraftPresentations/ Final DraftWeek 1: CareersThis week you will be looking at careers.
