The property is located in the M-A-C (Major Activity Center) of the Comprehensive Design Zones within the Bowie and Vicinity SMA. The submitted lease agreement indicates Buying and Selling of vehicles via the internet; the sale of automobiles at or from the premises shall not be permitted. Also, the use of car sales is not listed in the table of uses of the Prince George’s County Zoning Ordinance for the Comprehensive Design Zones, therefore prohibited. Please upload the approved site plan for the property (attached) and a confirmation that the proposed use will not provide “storage, displayed, drop-off or pick-up at this location” and is only to be used for office.

5/13/2020 – Per email from Korbin Newhouse, the proposed use is not a car sales its parking lot for vehicles that are already purchased and awaiting delivery. A parking lot in the MAC Zone is only permitted per Part 11. The applicant must submit in detail how the proposed use is operating from this location. Are you proposing to use the building and if so, what for?
