This training is designed to enhance TB case management skills of the nurses who attend. Format includes lecture, discussion, and case study presentations

TARGET AUDIENCE

Nurses who care for patients with tuberculosis disease and latent TB Infection

OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:

• Describe the role of Maine’s PHNs in TB case management

• Discuss the challenges of TB case management

• Describe case management of children with TB disease/LTBI

• Identify practical case management strategies to address challenges
