Casey Nance was a standout basketball player for four years at RHS as she scored

1037 career points, added 281 career blocks, and 1113 career rebounds. She was a 1st team all-league performer her sophomore, junior, and senior years as well as 1st team all-district and 2nd team all-Ohio her junior and senior years. She set singlegame school records of rebounds (22) and blocks (8). She set single-season school records in rebounds (357) and blocks (281). She was recognized as the Tri-County Coaches Association Player of the Year (2008) and a McDonald's All-American nominee her senior year. Her senior year the team went 18-5. She went on to play at the University of Dayton where she earned four letters, starting 122 games and playing in 131 games. She was an Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selection, Atlantic 10 All-Defensive team selection, and a three time recipient of the Arthur Ashe Scholar Athlete Award. She as ranks 10th in career rebounds (712) and 2nd on the career blocks list (214), and ranks 3rd in games played (131). Her teams appeared in the NCAA tournament three times and won the program's first A-10 tournament title (2012). Casey is currently a Revere girl's assistant basketball coach--this past season (2015-16), the girl's team won their first Suburban League title since 1975. Note: Father, Larry Nance, played in the NBA for 13-years. Brother, Larry Nance Jr (RHS `11), currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. Brother, Pete Nance (RHS `18) is currently a junior at Revere.

Advice to Current Revere Athletes: "Always work hard, trust your coaches, and enjoy every single mo-

ment. One day, you will look back and wish you could relive those memories!"

most of the high school experience. I would also like to share this honor with my awesome teammates and

friends, both at RHS and UD, for helping me to create countless irreplaceable memories and having so much
