*Layout of Notre Dame Cathedral: Explain the parts, inside and out, of Notre Dame’s layout, and the purpose of each part

*Notre Dame Stained Glass- Talk about the stained glass, in general, including the rose windows, but also the other stained glass in the church.

*Notre Dame Rose Windows- The three most famous windows from the church, go into more detail what is so significant about them.

Presentation Tips and Guidelines

Make an image-heavy PowerPoint or Prezi slide show which tells your part of Notre Dame Cathedral’s history.

First slide: Title, topic, your name

Last slide: Sources you used for making the PowerPoint/Prezi

Ten Slides in-between. One image, one fact per slide.

PowerPoint/Google Slides Tips:

* Slides should be easy to read.

* Keep wording minimal on each slide. A few words or a short phrase is fine.

* Keep the backgrounds, fonts and transitions consistent.

* Use only one image per slide unless a comparison is being made between two.

* Keep the special effects to a minimum; we don’t want to get motion sickness.

*You must list your sources on a slide at the end of the PPT.

*Proofread your slides carefully. Points will be deducted for errors.

*Email or share your finished slideshow at aberzins@mccsc.edu

If email, IN THE SUBJECT LINE- PLEASE TYPE YOUR NAME!!!!

General Presentation Tips:

Use the skills and experience you have acquired in your other classes.

*Start your topic with an attention-getter, and give a brief introduction/overview.

* Wrap up your topic with a conclusion.

*Practice your presentation a few times, so that you know it, and can present it comfortably.

* Make a conscious effort to avoid crutch words (um/uh, like, and)

* Make eye contact with the class
