Kenneth Mincey, age 86, of Cumming, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 19, 2021, surrounded by his family. Kenneth was a devout husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was born in 1935, in Baxley, Georgia. Kenneth was the owner and founder of Mincey Marble in Gainesville, Georgia. He operated the company for 45 years and was an innovator in the cast marble industry. In his spare time, Kenneth enjoyed designing and building. He helped build Jesse's House, a local youth shelter. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and was a booster club supporter for many years. Kenneth also enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, JoAnn Bowen Mincey; and mother, Beatrice Mincey.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Donna Mincey of Gainesville, Roger (Dawn) Mincey of Dahlonega, Kevin (Gina) Mincey of Cumming; grandchildren, Morgan Mincey, Bowen Mincey, Caitlin (Lauro) Jarquin, Cassidy Collins; siblings, Bernice Hires, Dennis (Michelle) Howell, and Berry Howell; and his beloved pug, Junior; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 22, 2021, from the hours of 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
