A Message from our Pastor
Dear New Parishioners of Blessed Trinity,
Welcome to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church!
I pray that you find in our Parish Family the Joy, Comfort and Challenge that the Lord promised to his disciples.
The quality of the Christian Life and the strength of our parish community is a direct result of our active parishioners. As our Mission Statement says: Our parish is centered in Jesus Christ and nurtured by the Eucharist. Our weekly gathering at the Table of the Lord gives us the energy, the vision and the commitment we need to reach out in service and support to each other and to others beyond the parish boundaries through the various ministries being offered through membership in our parish family. Here at Blessed Trinity, we believe that the spiritual nourishment we receive from our prayer and sacramental life will help us, firstly, to indeed be “our brother’s (and sister’s) keeper” within our parish community. Real and vital community growth will naturally spill over in service to our neighbors at large.
As you look through this Welcome Guide, please read this information with an eye and ear of Faith to spot where the Lord is asking you to serve. By volunteering in one or another of these ministerial postings you will be on the fast track to a quicker sense of inclusion and connection in our Faith Community. I encourage you to contact the ministries, organizations and/or Staff persons directly and attend their meetings. All are welcome here.
We look forward to your being a part of the excitement of Blessed Trinity. Again, on behalf of the clergy, the staff and the entire parish community: Welcome to Blessed Trinity.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
[pic]
Fr. Roland Nadeau, M.S., Pastor
Christ has no body now on earth but yours; yours are the only hands with which he can do his work, yours are the only feet with which he can go around the world, yours are the only eyes through which his compassion can shine forth upon a troubled world. Christ has no body on earth but yours.

Funeral Preparation

Funeral Liturgy
The funeral liturgies follow the norm of the Order of Christian Funerals: Vigil, Mass and Burial. They are done in the light of good liturgical sensibilities; both beautiful and meaningful even to those un-churched or of another faith. Volunteers are needed to assist with the funeral liturgy.
Bereavement Ministry Scope
Bereavement Ministers bring spiritual and emotional comfort to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
Upon notice of a death, ministers are assigned as a team to the family of the deceased. The team meets with family members to assist in preparing the Funeral Mass.
They attend the Funeral Mass in order to assist the Presider and the funeral directors. They offer, on behalf of the parish, spiritual and emotional support to help the family deal with loss.
The Bereavement Ministry sends a timely condolence card by mail, and organizes and invites all the grieving families of the past year to a special prayer ceremony on All Souls evening.
