The Principal of schools

which introduced FMM in the

Academic session 2007-08.

Sub.:- Availability of Text Books in Financial Market Management (FMM) – Class XII.

Dear Principal,

Your school introduced the course in Financial Market Management (FMM) in class XI from the academic session 2007-08. I hope the students admitted in class XI in the previous academic year must have passed and moved to Class XII in the current academic session. As you are aware, the textbooks required for class XII were under print and with a view to facilitate the children in their studies in class XII, two chapters each of the three books prescribed for class XII were put on CBSE’s website for their convenience. Now the following books have been printed and are available in the CBSE Book store as per details given below:-

• Accounting for Business-II Class XII Rs.250/-

• Introduction to Financial Markets-II Class XII Rs.250/-

• Practical Manual of Introduction to Financial Markets-I&II Rs.70/-

The course material in the subject of BPO skills is under print and as soon as it is available for sale, you will be informed. In the mean time, you may procure sufficient copies of the aforesaid three books for your students, teachers and library.

2. Procedure for placing the supply order for copies of the Text Books.

• Decide the number of copies of each textbook required by your school taking into account the number of students enrolled for this course and the requirement of your teacher(s) and the library.

• Calculate the total cost of the books keeping the following points in view:-

➢ If the order is for ten or more copies of books 15% discount on the total cost is allowed. Please calculate the total cost separately for each of the three books.

➢ Calculate the total cost of copies of all the textbooks required.

➢ Add 3% of the total cost towards packing charges. This will give the total amount to be sent to CBSE.

➢ Make a bank demand draft for the above amount in favour of Secretary, CBSE. payable at Delhi.

➢ Write a letter giving details of the books ordered, amount, discount, packing charges etc. mentioning clearly the address to which the consignment has to be sent.

➢ Send the letter enclosing the crossed demand draft to the following address:

The Head Assistant(Publication Store)

Central Board of Secondary Education

Shiksha Sadan, 17, Rouse Avenue

New Delhi-110002.

3. Mode of dispatch of consignment.

• The CBSE bookstore will pack the books ordered and dispatch it to the address mentioned in your letter through Transport Corporation of India(TCI) under ‘To Pay’ mode. The consignee note and the bill with receipt for the cost of books will be sent to you by post. TCI will deliver the consignment on production of the consignee note on payment of freight charges.

• It would be advisable that you place the order immediately so that the books are available for students when the school reopens after summer vacation.

I do hope that your students must have enjoyed studying this package in Class XI and also they might have been preparing to appear for NSE’s online examination in Financial Markets: A Beginners’ Module.

For any other clarification, you may feel free to contact either my AEO, Shri A.H. Ahmed on telephone No.011-22444845 or the undersigned at 011-22515829.

With best wishes,

Yours sincerely,
