Submit your CCSD online Student Teaching Application

Application Deadline: SPRING 2019 application deadline is September 28, 2018 Required Documents:

Resume (please upload with your online application)

Transcripts: Unofficial transcripts are acceptable (please upload with your online application)

University/College Documentation: If you have a university/college field placement coordinator that assists you with your student teaching placement request, they will need to send their standard package of documents to Human Resources. If you do not have a university/college field placement coordinator, this documentation is not required. (please send these document via email to studentteach@)

Student Teacher Placement Window

SPRING 2019: From October 1, 2018 ? November 12, 2018

During the placement window student teacher applications are viewable to our schools for placement, however it is the student teacher's responsibility to advocate for himself/herself to help facilitate placement in a school. Please contact schools directly. All main phone numbers for our schools can be found on our website.

Placement Once a student teaching placement has been arranged (a CCSD teacher has agreed to be your cooperating teacher AND this teacher has obtained approval from the principal at the school), our school will submit a Student Teacher Placement Form in our system. Upon receipt of this form in Human Resources, a background check will be ordered. After the student teaching candidate clears the background check, the form is processed and a copy of the finalized

STEP 4: STEP 5:

placement form will be sent to the university/college field placement coordinator and the student teacher (or to the student teacher directly if there is no university/college field placement coordinator).

Student Teacher Orientation

Student Teachers (and Field Placement Coordinators who would like to attend) will be invited to a Student Teacher Orientation with dates and information via the email address they supplied in the online student teaching application.

Guaranteed Screening Interview

As part of your CCSD student teaching placement, you are guaranteed a general screening interview with a Cherry Creek Administrator near the end of your placement. Student teachers will be contacted with dates and information via the email address they supplied in the online student teaching application. This is a great way to network with Cherry Creek School District leaders in preparation for the hiring season.
