SUBJECT: Holiday Visiting Options for Families

The holidays are fast approaching and Rocky Knoll recognizes the need for residents to visit with their

family and friends during the holiday season. While ensuring safety and compliance per the State of

Wisconsin and CDC recommendations for Covid-19 restrictions, we do not recommend any residents leave

the facility for family gatherings; therefore, we are offering families the opportunity to gather in our Family

Lounge for a holiday visit from November 23, 2020 – January 30, 2021 with the exception of Thanksgiving

Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Here are the details for the on-site holiday visits in our Family Lounge:

• Monday-Friday- 3 Time Slots per day: 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.; 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.; 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

• 10 people are allowed in the Family Lounge per visit. ( 1 resident and 9 visitors )

• Children are allowed. They will count as one visitor

• NO Food or Drinks

• Full PPE and masks (unless medically exempt) are REQUIRED during entire visit

• Visitors are asked to arrive at A1 entrance as a group 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment to allow time for orientation and screen in

• Visitors will be escorted to the Family Lounge as a group and are asked to stay in the Lounge during the entire visit and not wander around the facility

• Feel free to exchange gifts, bring games, cards, or share photos. Please take out what you bring in

• Visitors are asked to follow cleaning instructions after the visit- Instructions will be posted in the room

• Visitors will be escorted out of the Family Lounge to the A1 Entrance area to screen out

Appointments can be scheduled by calling the receptionist at our main phone number 920-893-6441. Evening and weekend holiday requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the Rocky Knoll Leadership team. Visitors desiring to cancel a scheduled visit due to inclement weather or illness are asked to call the facility and notify receptionist as soon as possible. Second Holiday visit requests will be put on a wait list until all initial holiday visits are scheduled.

If a family wishes to take a resident out of the facility for a holiday gathering, the following protocol will be followed: Mandatory 14- day stay in designated location in facility and subject to Covid testing.
