|4. |Residents from the cottages whose access is over Beal Marsh attended. They have asked if they can turn |

|Beal Marsh |the area behind their garages into a hardstanding for cars. This is common land which they have access |

|17/04/589 |over to the rear of their properties. There is also an issue with the Oak trees on this area. The |

| |telephone lines go through them. The Parish Council were advised some years ago not to cut them as it can|

| |lead to Oak drop. Clerk will look into hardstanding and trees. Residents to contact BT re moving lines. |

|9. |New Bungalow Weeland Road – Extension – no complaints. |

|Planning Applications |Solar Farm Kellingley – variation to extend life to 30 years – no complaint. |

|17/04/594 |215 Weeland Road – is on planning list of decisions as refused but no notification received – Clerk to |

| |write and ask why it has been refused. |

| |Kellingley Colliery – Cllr Mackman reported that this is going to planning on 12th April with |

| |recommendations for approval subject to (i) No objections from Highways England, and any other statutory |

| |consultee after the advertisement/re-consultation. (ii) Following referral f the application to the |

| |Secretary of State, his confirmation that it is not to be called in for his consideration (iii) The |

| |completion of a satisfactory S106 agreement. There are plans for publically accessible space, extending |

| |the towpath to Knottingley and plans for a piece of public art. There are no plans at present for |

| |housing but it could be possible later. |

|10. |Cllr Chambers dealing with it and suggested it is sent quarterly – all in agreement. |

|11. |Chair attended Southern CEF meeting. Agenda included Housing options for young people. The hub is aimed |

|External Groups reports |at young people between 16 & 25 who are or are at risk of becoming homeless. |

|12. |Customers of Kings Arms are parking on pavements causing an obstruction – this is a police matter. |

|Minor Items. |Clerk to write to NYCC Area 7 to ask if yellow lines can be put on road to stop this. |

|17/04/597 |We have received numerous reports of HGV vehicles following sat nav and entering Broad Lane. These |

| |vehicles cannot get through and are having to reverse back into Main Street. Also tractors are mounting |

| |kerbs as they turn in to streets. |

| |Clerk to contact Poskitts and Euroauctions and ask they to ask drivers not to rely on sat nav in the |

| |village and David Platt and ask him to ask his drivers to take more care when cornering. |

| |Dog fouling – people are walking dogs, collecting waste in bags then leaving the bags not using the bins.|

| |Clerk to contact SDC and ask if they have any dog signs PICK IT UP AND BIN IT, that we can have. |
