Introduction to Celtic Shamanism
Part I (Suitable for all levels)
This workshop will promote transformation through deep ancestral images that resonate within us. We will learn how to prepare for the sacred Imramm (Shamanic journey) and begin our quest into the mists to find our true selves.
1. The Three Cauldrons
Using Celtic imagery and story we begin to understand the mysteries of the Three Cauldrons. We learn how to move energy through our body corresponding to the Cauldron of Dagda, the Red Man, the Cauldron of Cerridwen, the Great Mother, and the Cauldron of Brighid, the Triple Goddess of Fire. This practice brings healing, energy and peace.
2. Brighid’s Shield
We wrap ourselves in Brighid’s Mantle for protection and vision. This technique energizes our sacred space in preparation for the Imramm (Shamanic Journey).
3. Celtic Power Animals
Celtic Power Animals are very specific and their powers and medicine are based on traditional meanings. Using oracle and trance work we will meet our Celtic Animal Guide to receive their teaching and blessings.
4. Imramm to Annwn (Shamanic journey to the islands of the lower world).
Imramm in Abred (Shamanic journey to the healing well of the Sidhe (Faery people). Imramma to Gwynvd (Shamanic journey to the Upper world and the Four Holy Cities.)
