The data for these reports will be extracted from our student information system, Banner/Operation Data Warehouse (ODS), at different times.Census report: The data freeze will be done 2 days after the census date (15 week census date for Spring and Fall and 8 week census date for Summer). The report will be published as soon as possible after the data freeze.End of term report: The data freeze will be done 2 days after the end of the term. The report will be published as soon as possible after the data freeze.Read the notes for each table to understand the context of the report and know the data extraction time. Data items were selected based on the frequency of report requests from different constituents and some best practices. If you have additional data requests or questions please contact the IR office directly.Thank you.Yared Belete Director, Institutional ResearchEmail: Yared.Belete@arapahoe.eduPhone: 303.797.5092 Student Enrollment Head Count The number of students enrolled for credit into a countable class with each student counted only once during the reporting period. The count excludes all students enrolled into non-countable class and students who enrolled for non-credit; these are NCTI* students, students who are auditing a class, and students who dropped late for administrative reasons. FTE of 1.0 is equivalent to a student enrolled full-time (30 credits completed in an academic year). In the table below, FTE for high school students is included in the main campus calculations but is also displayed as a separate category, for convenience. FTE for high school students is calculated as the sum of all countable credit hours of all high school students (all types, as shown in the Concurrent Enrollment section of this report) divided by 30 credits. IPEDS reporting requires unknown and non-reported gender to be reported as either male or female; this is done based on the student Social Security Number (SSN). For reporting purposes, students with an SSN ending in an odd number are designated ‘female’, otherwise, they are designated ‘male’. The same rule is applied to the Student ID (S#), if the student has no SSN on file. Mean Age is obtained by computing the average of all ages for ACC students' registered for the term. Median Age is the 50th percentile, obtained by creating a list of registered (for the term) students’ ages in numerical order. Percentage calculation is based on most recent term data. Age data may differ from the reported headcount for the same term, due to report timing, previous overlapping of age categories, and unreported date of birth.Registered Students by Age GroupSummer 2014Summer 2015Summer 2016Summer 2017Summer 2018Summer 2018 PercentageLess than 18 Years Old53816169611.9%18 to 20 Years Old96096990094496830.7%21 to 24 Years Old71972171472369021.9%25 to 30 Years Old66364264364261019.3%31 to 34 Years Old3222872612552447.7%35 to 40 Years Old3242862712652196.9%41 to 45 Years Old2271861551321344.2%46 to 49 Years Old111788691852.7%50 to 54 Years Old113885578642.0%55 to 59 Years Old77624850401.3%60 to 65 Years Old21312628311.0%66 to 69 Years Old262750.2%70 Years Old and Above489360.2%Total Registered Students35963445323132873157100.00%Mean Age28.628.027.527.527.2This cell intentionally left blankMedian Age 2524242423This cell intentionally left blankEthnicity/RaceEthnicity is a self-reported data field on the admission application. The student is at least 17 years old at the end of the Spring term and 2. The student did not return to ACC as a HS student in the subsequent Fall term.? This section of the Data Book is only updated for the Fall end-of-term reports; results for most recent Fall terms will be copied to subsequent Spring and Summer Data Books. ‘Returning’ graduates: CE Students who re-enroll at ACC as a non-HS student in the Fall semester immediately following their HS graduation. ‘Retained’ graduates:?
