This year we are offering two types of scholarships, Academic Scholarships for students who will continue with formal education after high school, and Career Equipment Needs Scholarships for those who will enter the workforce in an occupation relevant to their training at WST. Students will be interviewed 05/02 or 05/03, 2019. Recipients of the scholarship must attend the West Sound Tech Foundation awards luncheon on 05/22/2019 to receive their award.

Scholarships have a 2 year expiration date.

Applications and instructor evaluations will be reviewed by the panel members. Each panel member will rate each response on a scale of 1-5. In addition, each applicant will be interviewed and evaluated by the panel.

Final determinations will be made by the panel according to a weighted distribution point system. The weighted point formula is 50% Interview, 30% Application, 20% Instructor Evaluation.
