|PURPOSE: To inform the staff of OA and the State Apprenticeship Agencies (SAA), Registered Apprenticeship program sponsors and other |

|Registered Apprenticeship partners of the approval of new National Standards of Apprenticeship for the National Restaurant Association |

|Educational Foundation (NRAEF). |

| |

|BACKGROUND: These new National Standards of Apprenticeship, submitted by |

|Mr. Rob Gifford, Executive Vice President, on behalf of NRAEF, were approved by the OA Administrator on June 15, 2017. These new National|

|Standards of Apprenticeship for NRAEF are for Restaurant Manager (Existing Title: Manager, Food Service) occupation and will be serviced|

|by the OA National Office. |
