All Health Care Providers

All health care providers will possess a current Adult/Pediatric Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Adult/Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as a minimum through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Pediatric Providers will possess Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, if required. All providers will hold an unencumbered licensed in their respective specialty in one of the U.S. States, territories or commonwealths. All providers will have had one year of experience within the past 3 years.

Physician Qualifications

Physicians will hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited college approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, or Doctor of Osteopathy Degree (D.O.) from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association or permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). Physicians will have completed a Fellowship Program in their subspecialty approved by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), if required. Board Certification or Eligibility by their specialty American or Osteopathic Board.

Nurse Qualifications

Registered Nurses will possess and Associates Degree as a minimum with preference being given to Bachelors trained RNs (BSN). Pediatric Nurses will hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Anesthetists will be master’s trained. All nurses will be certified in their own specialty by the certifying body of that specialty.
