Fossils like this one tell us a lot about early humans. Some early people may have begun moving from Africa to other regions about 1.8 million years ago. Over a period of time humans were found in Europe and as far away as China. Everywhere early humans went, they left clues about their lives. By studying these clues, scientists can tell us about our past.Scientists study human fossils and artifacts like tools and footprints to determine how early humans lived. Researchers also examine skeleton bones and teeth. These clues can reveal facts such as whether these humans were good tree-climbers or frequent meat eaters. Lesson 2: The Agricultural Revolution - The Agricultural Revolution allowed people to set up permanent settlements.
