You can change the password for your network via your router's Settings menu (Graphical User Interface). The device (desktop PC, notebook, tablet) you use to access the Settings menu must be connected to the router. This can be either a wired or a wireless connection. Carry out the following steps:

1. Open a web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Safari. 2. Type the following address in the address bar (or )

and press Enter.

3. Log in with your username and password. For the user name, enter "admin" (lowercase). The password can be found on the bottom of the router or in the Network Login Details flyer that may have been supplied with it.

4. Go to the 2.4GHz tab and select Security. If you have a dual-band router, you also have the option of selecting the 5 GHz Wi-Fi tab and changing the password for the 5 GHz network.

5. In the Pre-shared Key field, you can enter a different password. 6. Click on Apply to implement the change.

NB: this does not change the password for accessing the Settings menu (Graphical User Interface)! The password that you change here should be used to connect a device to your router.
