TRANSCRIPTChannel 7 News Clips – September 2011 Anchor Woman: Before we go to the weather, David Brown continues his series on life inside Victoria’s State Schools. This time he joined rehearsals for this year’s State Schools Spectacular in Ringwood. David Brown: It’s rehearsals at Ringwood Secondary College for the State Schools Spectacular Showtime at Hisense Arena, Melbourne Park later this month. Two and a half thousand State School students will take part in this wonderful event. What an amazing voice, she’s got talent and Imogen Spendlove is only 11 years old from Boronia Heights Primary. Imogen Spendlove: I’m quite excited and it’s really interesting because I get to see all these amazing other performers who are so much older than me, and so much better than me. David Brown: Imogen and her fellow students will perform in two shows on Sunday September 18, and they’ll be singing about the weather too! [Imogen and David both sing the chorus of “Singing in the Rain”].David Brown: See rains a wonderful thing [laughter]. David Brown: But what a wonderful voice.
