(50%) Responsible for building capacity of project holders in terms of financial management and providing support through trainings and field monitoringCoordinate the submission of the project partner monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual finance reports as stipulated in Heifer policiesOrgnaize trainings for capacity building of NGO’s/CooperativesBringing innovation in the use of management and information systemsConduct regular monitoring visits to check the implementation of Heifer’s partner policies and program impactAssist in Preparartion of partner budget, coordinate and monitor the partner budgetEnsure compliance with accounting principles and standards including Heifer partners, donors, local partners and Heifer International cost principlesReview budget requests and ensure the timely processing of fundsEnsuring timely reporting to donors and stakeholders in required formatsAccounting, Vouching and filing of financial transactions (30%)Responsible for ensuring that all transactions are timely recorded with adequate supporting documents and compliance to in-country/HQ policies. Ensuring that payment to vendors are timely madeEnsuring arithmetic accuracy of bills Ensuring timely entry into AgressoEnsuring documents are timely scanned as per document archive policyEnsure that an effective filing system is in place in the officeBudgeting and audits (15%)Accountable for assisting in annual budgeting cycle and reforecasts and coordinating the process of internal audit, partner audits and statutory audits. Assist the Finance Manager in annual budgeting cycle including reforecasts and postbacksPreparation of Partner audit schedule, communication with internal auditors Providing proper logistics and coordination during partner audit.Finalize partner audits and financial reportPerform other job-related duties as assigned (5%)Minimum Requirements:A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university in Business Administration, Business Studies, or related field plus a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar context is required.?
