Motion was then made by James De Block to approve the minutes; the motion was seconded by Francis Bonaccorso.The motion was approved unanimously. Motion Carried. COMMUNICATIONS: We received a thank you card from scholarship winner Nicholas Ezzi. NORTH JERSEY SECTION EXECUTIVE OFFICER REPORTS: President’s Report: Steve Wendowski; I prepared an article for SCAN Newsletter with John Corkery and my son.Vice President’s Report: John Corkery; Thank you to the golf outing committee for a successful outing and Chuck for preparing for the Beefsteak.Secretary’s Report: Christopher Pabst; No Report.Treasurer’s Report: Lisa Oberreiter; The state is conducting an audit. We have submitted all of our documents. SECTION STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: Awards Committee: Chairman Robert De Block; No Report. Education & Meetings Committee: Jim Wancho & Brian Bigler: Thank you to Sean for setting up the tour today at Precision Electric. Thank you for the great tour today.Membership Committee: Chairman Glen Riscen: No Report. Nominating Committee: Robert De Block: Second Reading:Nominations of NJWEA Delegates and Alternate Delegates for a 1 year term beginning at the start of the NJWEA Governing Council Meeting scheduled for April 2020. Nominations are to be presented to the membership for a second reading. SECTION SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: Affiliates Night: Chairman Charles Theodora: The event will be held on November 7th at the Fiesta. The second announcement went out today via eblast. Dinner Dance Committee: Chairman Dominic Abbate: Not Present. Vice President John Corkery announced the date for the 2020 Frank Miller Dinner-Dance and Awards Banquet will be Saturday March 7, 2020 at the Fiesta in Wood-Ridge, NJ. Same location as 2019.Golf Outing Committee: Rick Stafford & Humbert Mortola: The cost has increased this year to $125 per golfer due to a change in location. Social Events: The central section is coming north for a hockey game if you would like to attend. NJWEA, EXECUTIVE OFFICER REPORT: Executive Director/ Deputy Executive Director: Jim De Block: We has a successful tech transfer seminar and planning for the next seminar and the conference is well underway. Please encourage exhibiters to get application in early. Mini Seminar: Week of January 27th. The chair and co-chair have secured John Corkery for a great program. Fliers are likely to be out in December. Federation Directors: Robert Fischer: No Report Other State Officers/Committee Members: Robert De Block (President): Plans for NJWEA and WEF is hosting WEFMAX March 2020 in Hyatt in Jersey City. This is an opportunity for MAs to learn for each other.
