3. For minors subject to quarantine order, prior approval must be obtained from the Department of Health if they require an accompanying adult. The accompanying person can apply for conditional approval from the Department of Health before the arrival of the minor, the completed application form should be returned to the Department of Health by email to caretaker_apply@.hk. For application for formal approval after minor's arrival at Hong Kong and obtained the quarantine order, the accompanying person can call the 24-hour hotline provided on the quarantine order to submit an application. The accompanying adult and the inbound traveller have to be quarantined in the same hotel room and are not allowed to leave until the end of the quarantine period. For detailed arrangements, please enquire with the hotels or the Department of Health.
