Zambezi River Lodge (Capacity 200)

Located right next to Luthy Botanical Garden inside Peoria Zoo, the Zambezi River Lodge is a new facility seating up to 200 people. It has a cathedral ceiling, thatched roof, exposed timber construction, a huge fireplace, and heated floors.

Rondavel in Africa!

Located just outside the Zambezi River Lodge, this outdoor, open-air rondavel is equipped with a sound system and lighting making this the perfect setting for a DJ or live entertainment and dancing. The Lodge and Rondavel, together, make for a spacious and scenic location for any type of event.

The Luthy Botanical Garden features a variety of unique settings, and one is sure to be perfect for your wedding, reception or party. Grand Ballroom (Capacity 260)

Our most popular wedding and reception room. This elegantly appointed room opens onto a full-length balcony with stunning views of the Illinois River. It features 4,450 square feet of social space, which will seat up to 260 guests. The Grand Ballroom is available for rent on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 pm-midnight. Please contact the Gateway Building for cost information and availability.

Marshall Plaza

Situated in front of the picturesque Gateway Building, Marshall Plaza features an interactive fountain, marina access and spectacular views of the Illinois River.

Liberty Park

Located along the riverbank at the foot of Liberty Street, the gazebo offers a perfect setting for outdoor weddings with the Illinois River as a scenic backdrop.

Dining Hall (Capacity 250)

Perfect for an indoor/outdoor reception, this large facility includes a wood dance floor, large kitchen, restrooms, cabin, tables, chairs, benches, and an outdoor fire ring.

OA Lodge (Capacity 75)

A quaint, rustic building with high wood walls and ceilings and two wood stoves. Kitchen use, restrooms, and 8ft. tables (10) are included in the rental.

The Prairie Shelter (Capacity 200)

Large covered shelter ideal for a reception in a quaint setting. The Prairie Shelter allows self-catering, alcohol and offers a large playground to entertain children attending reception.
