Principal*s Reflections

The values of Respect; Responsibility and

Excellence (Quality) can never be

undervalued.

Children by learning these values early in life,

from home and from school, receive a

※head-start§ in life.

As parents and educators, consistency in your

expectations with children towards these

values, is the key.

School Uniforms and Cold Weather

With the cold weather, there is a ※temptation§

for children to wear anything, especially with

jumpers and track suit tops etc.

Please note, we are a uniform school!

Our correct, P&C approved School Uniform,

applies all year round!

Pumpkin Pickers Cup and Chess Team

All the very best to both of our teams this

week.

Remember that ※Sportsmanship§ is the

&§name of the game§, as it builds character

which in turn is an essential life skill!

Merit Awards

Congratulations to these students for their

outstanding effort;

? Gabbielle Spiers

? Savannah Geddes

? Piyper Carne-Jordan (X2)

? Tiarna Carne-Jordan (X2)

? Cohen Geddes

To date we have handed out 26 awards to our

students this year which represents approx

25% of our student population. Well done!

Mobile Phones

Please remember that it is a requirement that

all students hand their mobile phones into the

office of a morning. They are secured in the

office and returned to students at the end of

the day.

Disco Update

Our P&C organised Disco held on the 5th May

rose over $500 profit.

Money raised always goes back to our

students.

Soft Fall Refilled

The ※soft fall§ material under the fixed

equipment play area, has again been re-filled.

Thank you to our P&C who are paying for this

material, as it isn*t cheap!

I believe two large truck loads were delivered.

The cost (wholesale) was around $800

including delivery.

Future P&C Projects and Funding

Two future major funding expenses that our

P&C will be involved in are;

1. Air Conditioning of the two new

classrooms.

2. Building of a ? size basketball/netball

court area extending back from the

COLA.

Internet safety tip

Stranger danger is online too

Ensure your child never organises to meet up with any

strangers that they have met online. If they really want to

meet up, encourage them to talk to you about it first and insist

on going along with them. Remind your children to also be

wary opening emails from strangers too. They could contain

spam (online junk mail), a virus (which will harm your

computer), or be from a stranger looking for trouble.
