Our bridal shower grid game is similar to Scattergories. We have included three versions of the game cards (with preset categories) so you can choose the card version that you like best or use all three versions to play three rounds. The cards have spaces for 5 letters in the left hand column. We recommend that you use the bride's name, bride and groom initials, the word `BRIDE' or whatever letters you choose. Give each guest a game card and when you are ready to begin, tell them the 5 letters to fill in on the game card (don't give guests too much time to think of answers before the timer begins). At this point, every guest will have identical game cards.

Start a 5 minute timer and let the game begin! Each player attempts to fill in a word or phrase in each of the 25 blank grid squares. Entries should match the category and begin with the letter at the left hand side of the row (a, an, the do not count). After 5 minutes, the guests should read their answers for each grid space out loud so everyone can agree whether an answer is valid or not.

Scoring - You can score however you want, but we suggest that guests get 1 point for each correct word or 2 points if they wrote a two-word phrase that uses the letter twice (e.g. Donald Duck). For an added bonus, if the guest gets all 5 answers in a column or row correct, they get 5 bonus points. The person with the most points wins.
