ARIZONA

A registration permit is $1 per axle per 50 miles traveled. Motor carrier fees are $48 per trip for over 50 miles, and $12 per trip of 50 miles or fewer. The fee for use fuel is $65 per trip for over 50 miles traveled, and $16 per trip for 50 miles or fewer. A Class A over-dimensional permit is $15 Class A overweight permit is $75.

Account Code Annual Fee Instructions for non-divisible loads

The annual fee for account code is based on gross weight to be shown on the permit. The fee is assessed at a rate of seven dollars ($7.00) per on thousand pounds of fraction thereof Account codes are effective from May 1st through April 30th. Fees

are not prorated or refundable.

Permit Fees for Tractor Semi-Trailer Combination A seven dollar ($7.00) per one thousand (1,000) pounds, or fraction thereof, fee is applied to both the power unit and the semitrailer when computing an annual fee for a tractor/semi-trailer vehicle combination.

DELAWARE

Currently the minimum cost for a permit is $10.00 ($30.00 for a Superload (see Superload question below)). For overweight loads there is a weight fee of $5.00 for every 8,000 pounds (or portion thereof) for weight over the legal weight limit of the vehicle. Additionally, if the move uses one or more of the three toll roads there will be a $11.00 flat fee for each toll.

NOTE: For weights over 80,000 pounds [Items (2)(a) through (h) above], add an administrative cost of $3.33 for issuance of permit, which does not include the costs charged by wire services for their services. Permit fees shall be based on 25 mile increments rounded up to the nearest dollar. Example: A 112,000 pound load traveling 67.5 miles would cost (75 miles X $0.32) plus $3.33 = $27.33 rounded up to $28.00 in addition to the $5.00 transmission fee when applicable.

GEORGIA

Single Trip May only be used once for movement during the times specified on permit; must include a description of the load; name of transporter; origin and destination, routes of travel and insurance provider information.

Annual Permits All annual permits must have a load specific description that matches the type of load that is being transported. This means that heavy equipment permits are only issued for drivable equipment. Non-divisible load types such as pre-stress concrete, steel trusse, concrete beams etc. will be issued their own specific type of annual permit that matches the item shown on the permit. Are good for one (1) year from date of purchase; are interchangeable within the same company, as long as the original is in the transport vehicle at the time of movement; may be used for any load type that is not divisible, and does not exceed any dimension. Required to maintain $300,000 liability insurance with the Georgia Department of Transportation as the certificate holder and must be on file with said Department for the duration of the permit. Annual Commercial Wrecker Emergency Tow Permit

Effective July 1, 2013, due to the passage of HB218, Georgia will offer a new emergency tow permit replacing the old permit.

Upon renewal, the new permit will be issued. Permits will be issued for 135,000 lbs on 7 axles. Please see the legislation below

for the new requirements.

o Annual Commercial wrecker emergency tow permit. Pursuant to this code section, the commission may issue

an annual permit for vehicles towing disable, damaged, abandoned or wrecked commercial vehicles, including

combination vehicles, even though such wrecker or its load exceed the maximum limits specified in this

article. An annual commercial wrecker emergency tow permit shall not authorize the operation of a vehicle:

1. Whose single axle weight exceeds 25,000 pounds

2. Whose load on one tandem axle exceeds 50,000 pounds and whose load on any secondary tandem

axle exceeds 38,000 pounds; or

3. Whose total load exceeds 125 feet

Fees

Charges for the issuance of annual commercial wrecker emergency tow permits shall be $500.00 per permit.

(d) Emergency Towing: When a tractor/trailer combination becomes disabled, an authorized permitted wrecker may transport

the disabled tractor/trailer to a repair facility or safe location to dismantle the tractor/trailer. If the closes location is a weigh

station or rest area, transporters are authorized to leave dismantle the tractor/trailer, at that location, however, they must be

moved within a twenty-four (24) hour period or be moved at the owners expense. No state agency shall be responsible for any

damages to tractor-trailer left on State property.
