Back up your email content guide This guide will show the step by step instructions on how to back up and transfer the emails to your personal email account. These are the POP settings required for the transfer.
Gmail Your old email messages can be imported into Gmail as long as you haven't deleted them from the mail server. This way, you can store all of your old messages in Gmail for later reference, while receiving new messages at your new Gmail address. Step 1: Register for new Gmail account or login to your existing Gmail account. Step 2: Go to Settings > Accounts, then under "Check mail from other accounts (using POP3)", click "Add a POP3 mail account you own." Step 3: Enter the email address of the account you want to migrate (your SingNet email address).
Step 4: Enter the password and username of your SingNet email account. Step 5: On the POP Server setting, enter pop..sg. Step 6: On the Port setting, enter 110.

Step 5: Select > Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server. Step 6: Select > "Label incoming messages" [e.g. mysingnetnemail@.sg]. Step 7: Click Add Account.
Step 8: Select > No and click Finish.
Step 9: Setup is now complete, view your SingNet email from your Gmail inbox for your downloaded email.

Microsoft Outlook 2010 Step 1: Login to your existing Outlook account. Step 2: Go to File under the menu bar, select > Add Account. Step 3: Select > Manual setup or additional server type and click Next.
Step 4: Select > POP or IMAP and click Next.

Step 5: Key in the following information on the email setting screen Email Address: Your SingNet email address (e.g. user@.sg) Select Account Type > POP3 Incoming mail server: pop..sg Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail..sg User Name: Your SingNet ID (e.g. user) Password: Your SingNet email Password
Step 6: Select > Next to complete your setup. Step 7: Select > Close when all tests are completed, otherwise return to Step 4.
Step 8: Select > Finish.

Mac Mail v 9.3 (POP email) Step 1: Go to Mac Desktop panel, select > Mail.
Step 2: Select > Other Mail Account and enter your Name, SingNet Username (e.g. username@.sg) and Password.

Step 4: Click "Sign In" and wait for add mail account process to complete.
Step 5: Click "Continue on the pop-up message".

Step 6: Setup is completed. Your SingNet emails will be populated to your Mac Mail Inbox.
